So, Bank Holiday weekend didn’t go to plan shall we say….
No matter – this week has been a good one! After visiting the wholesalers on Saturday and finding lots of new goodies, I’ve had to wait until today (Friday) to be able to make anything!!!! here’s one of the things I’ve done:
I found some lovely little ice cream tubs at the wholesalers, they’ve got a towelling facecloth and a pair of baby socks in them, so an ideal little gift for a birthday or new baby – I can make them with any size kids socks, in any colour they can be bought in!
I’ve also done some painted pegs:
Which I can do in any colour combination, either in the dolly pegs as shown or on wooden spring pegs (these are ideal for pairing with my fabric covered notice boards to hold your letters & coupons on)
There are LOADS more things in the pipeline, I just haven’t got enough time to do everything I want to do. Personally, I blame Pinterest..with all it’s pretty things!! I’ve got slightly obsessed with infographics at the moment, and would love to be able to create something like that myself – cue a few hours wasted reading up on how to use the Illustrator programme that’s installed on my laptop 🙂 and whilst I was learning and trying, I came up with this……
It’s only a first try, so I’m still not sure, but I’m quite impressed with what I’ve achieved in just a couple of hours!
Honestly, I could do with about 7 different bodies to let me pursue all the different tangents I want to go off on in my head – so frustrating not being able to get my teeth stuck into all the things I want to try…I could be good at one of them!!!!!!!
